  There was quite a line as we tried to get our ferry tickets and the person we dealt with to buy them certainly seemed a bit stressed. The trip to Cape Lookout though was pleasant, the captains of the ferry there and back were personable, and things ran on time. Unless you have your own boat you will be using these folks most likely.

  Great ferry service! I rode with them on one of the busiest days of the year (Memorial day weekend) out to cape Hatteras. They've got plenty of parking, friendly staff, and will even take your picture on the ferry.
